profile Laurie JB Stubb, AIA, principal of Place,
Inc. architecture: design has over 20 years of experience guiding clients
through custom residential projects; additions, renovations and new homes.
Laurie earned her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from the
University of Maryland, College Park. She also studied abroad in Italy
sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Architecture.
Place’s unique brand of architecture can be found throughout the
Baltimore-Washington Region, Gibson Island, MD, West Virginia and New
Jersey. Laurie is a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the American
Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural
Registration Boards. She volunteers her expertise + time to
architecture kids workshops, library renovation at Fort Garrison Elementary
School and is the review architect for The Greenwood Homeowners Association.
