Single-Family Residence

The sharply angled porch roof defines this home’s modern entry, creating a striking focal point as it appears to hover above the front door. This bold architectural gesture is reinforced by a bluestone terrace that gradually rises and transitions into steps, guiding visitors naturally toward the porch.

Multicolored tan stone wraps the base of the house, used consistently for both risers and retaining walls to create a cohesive foundation. Horizontal sustainable fiber cement siding replaces the original vertical wood, visually expanding the facade and emphasizing its contemporary lines. The palette—blue-grey siding, a warm cherry-wood door and soffit, and layered tones of tan and blue stone—is unified by crisp black accents. Slim, round metal columns, railings, window sashes, and the roof fascia and gutters provide contrast and definition, sharpening the overall modern aesthetic.
