Single-Family Residence
The owners of Woods Hill were immediately drawn to this modest 1969 structure nestled into a wooded hillside. As empty nesters, they were ready to downsize, simplify, and reimagine the house as a comfortable retreat with a clean, modern aesthetic.
The comprehensive renovation reconfigured the home’s layout to better support their lifestyle. The kitchen was relocated to create a more intuitive flow, while the primary bedroom and lower level were fully transformed to include a new office, bath, laundry area, and family room.
A screened porch was added adjacent to the interior sitting room, allowing the two spaces to function as one cohesive living area. A custom three-panel bi-fold door elegantly separates indoors from out; when opened on pleasant days, it invites generous natural light and cross-ventilation throughout the home.
